What are the necessary requirements to apply for Canadian citizenship?
Candidate must meet the following requirements in order to apply for Canadian citizenship:
Applicant must be a permanent resident.
Applicant must have lived three out of five last years in Canada. (At least 1,095 days)
The candidate between the age of 18 to 54 years have to pass the citizenship test.
Applicant should at least meet the CBL (Canadian Language Benchmark) level 4.
In case of any past criminal record, applicants would be prohibited from becoming Canadian citizens.
